La Taverne

A very pleasant restaurant within the eco-museum setting. The staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. The menu was comprehensive and of high quality. A minor point: the white wines were served a little too warm for our taste, and the Riesling seemed a bit too fruity compared to what I'm used to in other Alsatian restaurants. Otherwise, the main courses and desserts were very well prepared. €5.90 for the charcuterie supplement seems very expensive for just four slices of roulade and some smoked ham… In short, the place is lovely, the terrace shaded by trees is pleasant, and the staff is great. Areas for improvement would mainly concern the white wine and the charcuterie supplement; serve the wine a little cooler, and for the charcuterie, either lower the price of the supplement or increase the portion size. Otherwise, thank you for a meal that remains high quality for a museum restaurant that can accommodate so many diners.

Good evening to those who enjoy traditional food made with fresh garden vegetables. I highly recommend this restaurant. I absolutely loved it.

The food was good. But the service took two hours for one main course and dessert—far too long—and we had to ask for the bill three times. It's a shame because we lost time and couldn't explore the whole site.

The pig's feet portion is huge; I wouldn't recommend it to Taiwanese people, as it's really too much to finish, and it doesn't taste like what Taiwanese people are used to. A few years ago, I ordered pig's feet and wasted a lot; this year my family ordered it again, and we couldn't finish it at all. The boiled beef was just average. I personally thought the foie gras salad was delicious. My family said they made a mistake after seeing my father-in-law order fried fish. In the summer, many French people sit outside, but there are flies; I suggest sitting inside. The restrooms were very clean. It gets very crowded on weekends, so I recommend making a reservation!
