Restaurant Chez Yaki

I am very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was cold and unprofessional, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. The service was particularly slow, despite the restaurant not being full. As for the food, the quality was lacking. The portions were small, and the value for money is definitely questionable. Some dishes arrived lukewarm, and the flavors lacked subtlety. It felt like everything was rushed, with no real attention to detail. Furthermore, the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive to customers. We had to ask several times for water and the bill. In short, a disappointing experience from beginning to end. I do not recommend this establishment and I will not be returning.

Very disappointed. The welcome wasn't very pleasant. The drinks were exorbitantly priced. The taste...so-so, but the bill was outrageous. A place I won't be returning to.

We always enjoyed going to Yaki's, driving 45 minutes to eat their delicious couscous. Last night we went, and to our great surprise, the owners were no longer the same, and the service was mediocre. Behind the bar, the waitress was picking her teeth, while the other waitresses sat and laughed—very poor—while we waited to order. I've never seen a Coke for €5.10! The lamb couscous consisted of only one lamb skewer! There was no toilet paper or hand towels, and the mop was lying around in the restroom. In short, we won't be going back!

A frosty welcome, waitresses sitting at the table on their phones that you have to call to be served. Tasteless couscous, bland broth with flavorless frozen vegetables. Sanitary facilities of dubious hygiene.

Amazing food!

A friendly and warm welcome. Quick service and a delicious meal: couscous with lamb skewers and couscous with chicken skewers. Both the quantity and quality were excellent, making for a very pleasant experience in a peaceful atmosphere, which was much appreciated these days. We will gladly return, especially since the prices are very reasonable. Bernard

I'm outraged to read some of the comments about this restaurant. Have you lost your minds or what? I've been coming to this restaurant for over 18 years, the food is so good, it feels like home... there have been two changes of ownership and you'd never have noticed, because in the kitchen nothing has changed, always just as good, just as generous, and the welcome has remained so warm... since Marine and her husband took over, it's even better, there's a younger generation, with Laure always serving us with a smile, just like Marine. So for those who feel entitled to write such awful things, we don't need your opinions, just go eat somewhere else because this establishment is far too good for you... Thank you to the whole team. We ordered our usual three-meat couscous... On the plate: one merguez sausage and two small chicken skewers... The vegetables were watery... The dessert was all frozen, and the bill came to €111 for such poor quality food... This used to be a pleasant place, but apparently it's changed ownership, and this is the result...

I don't understand all these negative reviews, everything is great!! The welcome, the service, the quality of the couscous and the meals in general, the consistency is guaranteed for those who might have doubts!!! I recommend it without reservation.

Terrible welcome, terrible staff, we were kicked out because we arrived at the restaurant early. What kind of excuse is that? Seriously, this restaurant is a waste of time.
