La Bruschetta Ristorante pizzeria

We arrived at 7:30 PM, and our starter was served at 8:02 PM. Our main course was, of course, ordered at the same time as the starter, so around 7:40 PM. We watched all the tables around us fill up and then empty, and still no sign of our main course. The first excuse was, "But you ordered a starter." And when we started to get annoyed, they told us we were seated after a table of 15 people—well, I never! (We went downstairs, and the largest table was only 9 people.) We would have liked dessert, but since our main course arrived at 9:15 PM, we weren't thrilled about receiving our crème brûlée at 11:45 PM. Luckily, the dishes were relatively good, although nothing exceptional. PS: It's extremely hot upstairs and very noisy.

We only knew about the place through word of mouth, and to avoid being ignorant, we decided to try it out for ourselves. We were in the area, so we quickly checked their website, made an online reservation, and off we went. The decor was lovely, and the atmosphere was really nice, although it was a bit noisy overall. We opted for an aperitif rather than wine; when you have to drive, it's best to be cautious. An Aperol Spritz and a Negroni—perfect! For our meal, we went for the set menu (starter/main course). The service was quick, and we enjoyed our meal with both hunger and pleasure. Dessert? Of course! A coffee tiramisu, a speculoos tiramisu, and two coffees. Delicious! The service was truly excellent. We had a waitress just the way we like them—smiling, witty, and humorous. Thank you, as you greatly contributed to this positive experience. We'll be back, because we saw dishes and pizzas go by... that even when we were full, still made us hungry! If you're near the Cité de l'Habitat, honestly, don't hesitate to go. Good, but a long wait.

As usual, excellent dishes, a super welcome, delicious products, and all served with a smile—what more could you ask for! I introduced the restaurant to a Sicilian friend, and he was won over 😉 Don't change a thing, it's a delight 😋

Very good restaurant

Overall, I didn't have a good experience there. The food is good, but I felt like I was bothering them, or perhaps there was pressure from the staff (or owner) who seemed irritated. There's a minimum level of courtesy towards customers that's clearly lacking there… I ordered three drinks and a carafe of water, and they didn't bring the carafe of water either… Too many tables to manage?

The food is very good but I can't say the same for the service; the staff are very cold, don't expect to get a smile out of them.

Excellent food, quality ingredients, and Italian-style service. However, the dining room is very noisy.
