Excellent choice. The steak tartare was superb. The foie gras was too. A pleasant surprise.

We're a little surprised by the negative reviews because this was our sixth visit to Lucien's, and as before, we weren't disappointed. The portions (generous for the price) were delicious, the service was very quick and friendly, and Lucien (the owner) created a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere with a touch of humor. We were seated on a lovely terrace. As always, we had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this place… Thanks again to the whole team! 👌👏 We can't wait to come back to Alsace! 😉

Our first experience was disappointing. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. It's a real shame she was reprimanded by her boss in front of the other customers. The pan-fried foie gras was dry and the calf's head was swimming in water. The sparkling wine and Coke weren't chilled. We won't be returning. We were a party of 8. For a public holiday, this should have been a red flag. We don't recommend it. What a shame.

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant! We received a very warm welcome from Lucien. Special mention goes to the ham hock with Munster cheese sauce, which was absolutely delicious. We had a great laugh, enjoyed excellent food and drinks, and had a superb wine selection. Highly recommended!

We were eager to try this restaurant given the menu descriptions, but I left disappointed. The dining room is small, rather dark, and quickly becomes noisy. The service was mediocre, likely due to the restaurant being full that evening. Overall, opinions at our table were very divided.

All the above criteria were met to the highest and highest standards. In the kitchen and dining room, it was the quality, talent, originality, professionalism, personalized attention, and cheerful atmosphere that made this meal an exquisite and unforgettable experience. Bravo to the entire team at Le Tonneau from the 11 delighted guests.

It was our first time at this establishment...absolutely top-notch...I loved it...the staff were great, the service was excellent, the food incredible...I recommend it to everyone...

I highly recommend this restaurant without hesitation! The service is impeccable, the food is truly excellent, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. Thank you to Lucien for allowing us to celebrate our wedding at his establishment; we couldn't have dreamed of anything better!

Thankfully, in France, the CPF account will allow the boss and the waitress to retrain in a field without customer contact because, quite frankly, they're not cut out for it. We'll never go back.

We had to wait two hours before we could eat… The staff were rude, and the owner was just as rude! Highly not recommended…
